On Saturday, 27 September 2025 (5:30–6:30 GMT), TAF Sierra Leone, a Country Chapter of The African Federation will host a panel discussion examining the dual challenges of health care and education reform in Sierra Leone, with lessons for Africa at large.
Sierra Leone’s health system, still reeling from past crises like Ebola and COVID-19, faces persistent underfunding, weak infrastructure, governance gaps and inequitable rural access. At the same time, Africa’s education systems require urgent reform to prepare future generations with relevant skills, digital literacy, and equitable opportunities.
This session, moderated by Abu Bakarr Sesay (Country Chapter Head, TAF Sierra) and featuring Hymanson Sesay (Representative for TAF Narrative, TAF West Africa) and Francis B. Swaray, will:
