True African sovereignty and sustainable development begin with the health, dignity, and well-being of our communities. Access to comprehensive sexual and reproductive healthcare, combined with informed personal responsibility and robust public health systems, is vital to building resilient societies across our continent.

Hosted by The African Federation (TAF), Nigeria Country Chapter this session brings together healthcare advocates, community leaders, policy experts, and youth to explore strategies for expanding healthcare access, promoting health literacy, and strengthening community-led wellness initiatives.

Key Discussion Pillars

  • Health Literacy & Education: Equipping individuals and communities with accurate, age-appropriate knowledge to make informed health decisions.
  • Civic & Individual Responsibility: Fostering community accountability, destigmatizing healthcare conversations, and promoting holistic physical and social well-being.
  • Equitable Access to Care: Addressing systemic barriers, infrastructure gaps, and policy frameworks to ensure quality, dignified healthcare reaches every corner of our continent.
