TAF Frequently Asked Questions

This page provides help with common questions about The African Federation

What will TAF be doing during its Launch Phase? As we prepare for our hard launch in 2026, at the same time as profile raising events & communication and on-boarding members, supporters & partners, we will be refining our detailed policy focus and organisational plans, strength & structure. Further details will be on our website.

How can I join The African Federation? You can now register as a free e-member of The African Federation via our official registration page. When signing up, you’ll be able to indicate your interests and how you’d like to be involved, whether through volunteering, contributing to focus areas or amplifying our message online. Once registered, our team will connect with you based on your selected areas of interest. Join us and be part of shaping a sovereign, united and prosperous Africa.

Why should I join TAF? As Africans, we know that our continent and our people have infinite potential. We need a continent-wide system of civil leadership that creates, plans, projects and protects the unity of our people. One that amplifies and reconciles our authentic voice to ensure that we are heard. When you join TAF you become part of a catalytic system for change - an organization that will: demand respect for Africa on the world stage; hold political leaders to account; harness the latent potential of our continent; deliver measurable and sustainable progress; restore our pride, unite, empower and benefit all Africans. If you want to be part of this change, please join us.

How can I best help TAF? Tell others about us, become a member, get involved via your Country Chapter or volunteer to lead. As we prepare for our hard launch in 2026, we need the support of volunteers, supporters and partners to complement our resources. You can now register for free e-membership via our official registration page, where you’ll be able to indicate how you'd like to contribute. Our team will follow up based on your interests and strengths.

Am I qualified to join or partner with TAF? Everyone who shares our values & objectives is welcome and encouraged to join, support, partner or collaborate with us.

What are TAF's membership fees? At this stage, membership is completely free. While membership structures and fees will be finalised closer to our 2026 hard launch, you can already register for free e-membership through our official registration page and get involved in building the movement today.

How can I become a partner? We are keen to work with any organisation which shares our values & objectives. Please contact us at support@theafricanfederation.org.

How do chapters work? Members of TAF will be global members, but affiliated to a Country Chapter. The Country Chapters will operate in every country across Africa to support the work of TAF Focus Units. In accordance with our charter, and to the extent permissible in each jurisdiction, Chapter governance will include an Assembly, Cabinet & Executive Committee.
