“A systematic change of mentality and new strategies are needed” according to The African Federation CEO.
“By 2050, Africa will be a very different kind of superpower” according to The African Federation which will establish itself as a strategic organization this year.
The African Federation (TAF) will host its live pre-launch event virtually on Tuesday 29 November, 2022. The pre-launch event will introduce the organization and its plans to the public and Africans at large.
Expected to start in November 2022 and extend to March 31st, 2023, the pre-launch phase aims at laying the foundation for the organization's formal launch whose date will be advised in due course.
Pre-launch event attendees will understand TAF's goal to hold political leaders to account and to unify, empower and benefit all Africans - not just the few.
"We [Africa] need no reminder of the wealth of our history and culture, of the abundance and beauty of our natural resources, of the infinite potential of our people and our continent, including the threats allied against us," states The African Federation CEO, Elisabeth Valerio.
The African Federation will be a politically non-aligned, non-profit foundation. It will be structured as a single global entity with central resources and country chapters, primarily operating through five core focus areas.
The organization’s core mission and vision is to restore fully Africa's sovereignty for future generations. To achieve this, TAF believes an intentional, strategic organization is required to develop policies and influence.
Valerio continues "What Africa does need is a continent-wide system of civil leadership and collective endeavor; an organization rather than a movement."
Those interested in creating a future for Africa that relishes its cultures and histories, holds political leaders to account and commands the respect it deserves on the world stage can register for the upcoming event.
The African Federation's live pre-Launch event will be hosted on Zoom, Tuesday 29 November, 2022 at 6:30 pm Central Africa Time (CAT).
