Africa, the cradle of humanity, stands at a pivotal moment in history. While it holds immense potential, our continent grapples with a persistent challenge: chronic food insecurity. The TAF Narrative Focus Unit and the entire African Federation invite you to join us as we delve into the heart of this pressing issue and seek to pave the way for a food-secure future for all Africans.

Our theme for the month of March is
Africa Can Feed Itself

Continuing our work on the TAF Policy Paper "Africa Can Feed Itself," we now turn our attention to two additional key pillars: Investment and Financing, and Policy and Governance. We examine how effective policies and governance structures, coupled with strategic investments and financing mechanisms, are essential for achieving food security across the continent.

Why our Executive Committee will be critical to TAF's Mission

In restoring the unity, prosperity and sovereignty of African countries, one critical element of our organisation is our Central Executive Committee, as the operational interface between our Cabinet (which represents our Assembly) and the operations of The African Foundation, including TAF Foundation.

The Central Executive Committee will be appointed by our Cabinet, to whom they will be accountable. In addition to our CEO, its principal members will be our Global Head of Focus Units, our Global Head of Chapters and our Global Head of Support Units. The Central Executive Committee will be responsible for the development of unit-level and consolidated strategic plans and objectives for Cabinet approval and then the day-to-day management of the organization to deliver those objectives.
