Watch the video "Why TAF is Needed" Our theme for the month of May is May brings a renewed focus on how The African Federation (TAF) will play a vital role in shaping our collective progress. Now is the time for unified action. TAF stands for a prosperous sovereign Africa. Just as your engagement enriched our understanding of the previous Policy Papers, we would appreciate your participation in shaping the discourse around why TAF is needed. Through your insights, perspectives, and collaborative efforts, we will develop an understanding of the role TAF will play in adressing the multifaceted challenges facing our continent. Visit the TAF Online Community to read what we have gathered so far and add your comments or tell us what is missing. Strategy 2035 - The Purpose of Chapters TAF Members affiliate with a nation or country Chapter and associate with one or more central Focus Units. Individual chapters are led by a Country Chapter Head, supported by 2 core leadership partners: a Head of Communication and a Head of Support Unit. Within a Chapter and on behalf of the Chapter Head: Communications oversee membership recruitment strategy, orientation, onboarding & engagement planning - and that TAF proposition is effectively delivered to affiliated Members; and Support Units oversee governance & compliance and finance & controls - and that the chapter is functioning effectively. Focus Units (our muscles) are manifest in chapters (our eyes & ears) in their chapter Representatives. After development of the numbers of committed Members, Chapter Leadership's next key objective in delivering the proposition to these Members, therefore, is to ensure that a strong, direct, working relationship between chapter affiliated Members and central Focus Units is created and maintained by Focus Unit Representatives..
