Why TAF is Needed

Head of Support Units for TAF Uganda Chapter, Mallion Mandela highlights the crucial role that TAF will play in making Africa a superpower by 2050, for the many rather than the few. To know more about TAF, visit the TAF Website

Our theme for the month of May is
Why TAF is Needed

As we conclude our exploration of "Why TAF is Needed," we look into the critical roles and the importance of leadership in driving Africa's development and unity.

We also explore the concept of neocolonialism and its impact on the continent. Understanding how external influences and economic dependencies continue to shape the continent is important for addressing the systemic challenges that hinder efforts towards African unity, true independence and sustainable development.

Why TAF is Needed

This month's Policy Paper will solidify the reason why TAF is needed. Join us in this collaborative endeavour as we define why TAF is not just an idea, but a crucial instrument for shaping Africa's destiny.

Visit the TAF Online Community to read what we have gathered so far and add your comments or tell us what is missing.

Thought Leadership - TAF Governance

Within our 5 Focus Units, TAF Governance will develop policies for transparent governance for unity and will launch in the next few weeks. Its broad scope of pan African advocacy is: our systems of control & accountability within & between government, the economy & civil society, including the law; with an emphasis on convergence & sovereignty, for effective leadership & peace.
