To know more about TAF, visit the TAF Website 29 June 2024 Our theme for the month of June is As we progress with our theme, "Silencing the Guns," this week we will look into governance and conflict management. We will examine how effective governance practices and conflict management strategies can play an important role in preventing and resolving conflicts. We are also addressing the growing phenomenon of coups in Africa. We will analyse the factors contributing to the resurgence of coups, their impact on political stability and governance and what this trend means for the future of democracy on the continent. Strategy 2035 - Diaspora Hubs TAF promises that by 2050, Africa will be a superpower, for the many rather than the few. Strategy 2035 sets out our roadmap to deliver on this promise. By 2028, we intend to have 56+ nation & country chapters across Africa and 30,000 members globally. As part of this, we will establish Hubs in the Diaspora for Africans and allies abroad to participate in our Mission. We intend to launch our first Diaspora Hub by end of 2024, our fourth by end 2026 and our tenth by end 2028. Chapter governance includes a similarly structured Assembly, Cabinet & Executive Committee and a Focus Unit organisation.
