Our theme for the month of September is
How should Africa respond to a climate crisis it didn't create?

As we continue our exploration of Africa’s response to the climate crisis, this week we will focus on how Africa can curb the interference of the Western world in its climate policies and decision-making processes. We will examine ways Africa can assert its sovereignty in shaping climate solutions that serve our unique needs.

We will also discuss how Africa can advocate for justice and equitable global climate policies, highlighting the continent’s role in pushing for fairness in international climate negotiations and agreements.

How should Africa respond to a climate crisis it didn't create

This month's Policy Paper will focus on how Africa can adapt to and mitigate the impacts of a crisis that threatens its development and prosperity. Join us in this collaborative endeavor as we discuss solutions that build resilience, advocate for climate justice and secure a sustainable future for Africa.
