Our theme for the month of September is
How should Africa respond to a climate crisis it didn't create? This week we will examine the potential contribution Africa may make to global warming if it prioritises fossil fuel use for development. We will explore the balance between development needs and environmental responsibility, highlighting the complexities involved in energy choices. We will also discuss the policies and frameworks needed at the regional level to ensure a coordinated and effective response to climate change across the continent, focusing on how African nations can unite to tackle this pressing challenge.
