Ubuntu This week, we explore the core principles of Ubuntu and their relevance in contemporary Africa. Ubuntu, with its focus on interconnectedness, communal responsibility and empathy, challenges individualistic approaches and highlights the importance of mutual care and shared dignity. We will also examine how Ubuntu can address Africa’s modern challenges. As the continent grapples with conflict, corruption, and environmental degradation, this philosophy offers a framework for ethical governance, unity and sustainable development. A passionate volunteer, program evaluation consultant and lecturer in Medical Sociology and Conflict Transformation, Julius is dedicated to fostering positive change in Liberia and the continent.
