TAF Twitter Spaces on X TAF Wellness | Breaking Colonial Legacies 2pm GMT | 3pm WAT | 4pm CAT | 5pm EAT Join this session to contribute to the conversation on how civic education and mental health intersect in the broader effort to restructure African thought, reverse neocolonial dependence and advance sustainable development across the continent. Be part of that conversation here. Our theme for the month of June is Neocolonialism, imperialism and agents This week, we look inward. Foreign control doesn’t persist on its own. It requires gatekeepers. Across the continent, elites have positioned themselves as brokers of access, trading community interests for personal gain. Through land deals, political appointments or silence in the face of injustice, these leaders have selfishly helped entrench the very systems that undermine African sovereignty. Our Values - Stewardship We value and responsibly steward, preserve and improve everything we have received, from the environment to the true version of our history and culture. It is a debt we owe to our children and the next generation, a debt we cannot default on, a debt we must pay forward.
