This TAF Ghana discussion on Zoom, will critically examine the evolution of Ghanaian democracy from independence to the present day, unpacking its successes, shortcomings and the pathways for its future. Register here to be part that conversation. Our theme for the month of August is The ideal education system for Africa - in context of the colonial system Our classrooms continue to follow a design inherited from colonial rule. They push students to master foreign languages and memorise facts that have little relevance to their lives. This has left many young people trained to leave their communities in search of work. An education that truly serves Africa must give learners the tools to think critically, draw from their own knowledge systems and build futures at home. TAF FAQs - What are TAF's membership fees?
