November 2025 "TAF Ubuntu Celebrations"
![]() This November, The African Federation celebrates Ubuntu, the spirit that reminds us “I am because we are.” Africa’s journey to becoming a superpower by 2050 depends on our shared strength, connection, and commitment to one another. Join us in honouring this powerful vision as we look toward the future together. Watch the video here. Our theme for the month of November is Ubuntu as a framework for African systems November opens with a theme that takes us back to Africa’s core philosophy. Ubuntu. A way of life that recognises the wellbeing of one is tied to the wellbeing of all. Across much of Africa, this understanding guided how people led, traded, healed, governed and educated. It set the terms of justice, the pace of economies and even the relationship between humans and the environment. But as Africa adopted foreign systems of governance and economics, Ubuntu was gradually pushed to the side. To restore Ubuntu, we must rethink how we make policies and relate to one another. Our Principles - Learn What Works To forge a robust and empowered Africa, we learn from what works and what doesn’t work. We look back for historical lessons, applying them to what we know today.
