"TAF Ubuntu Celebrations"
TAF Environment talks about Ubuntu

This November, The African Federation celebrates Ubuntu, the spirit that reminds us “I am because we are.” Africa’s journey to becoming a superpower by 2050 depends on our shared strength, connection, and commitment to one another. Join us in honouring this powerful vision as we look toward the future together. Watch the video here.

Our theme for the month of November is
Ubuntu as a framework for African systems

Ubuntu is a working approach that continues to appear everywhere people choose cooperation over competition and service over status. Traditional and emerging examples continue to prove that the values behind Ubuntu are not outdated. They are still very relevant and just need stronger recognition and more support.

Ubuntu as a framework for African systems

This month’s Policy Paper explores how Ubuntu can serve as a practical framework for rebuilding African systems. It will look at how this philosophy can guide principles across seven vital domains: governance, economies, leadership, wellness, environment, justice and education. Africa already has this moral foundation, so there is no need to invent a new one. The challenge now is to make Ubuntu practical again. Join us as we unpack how Ubuntu can move from being a philosophy in spirit to becoming a guiding model for Africa’s renewal.

How TAF is Organised - Assembly

Election of Assembly members and its chairperson is in accordance with our charter. With members serving to the greatest extent possible the broadest regional and national constituencies, the Assembly is responsible for ensuring that The African Federation remains true to the pan-African spirit, principles and objectives of our charter, reflecting the voice of African people in our strategy and objectives, and for electing the Cabinet. The most recent list of launch phase Assembly members will be available on our website in due course.
