The idea of inter-African cooperation and Pan Africanism is long over due. What has not yet been successfully answered is how we will achieve it. This TAF global virtual event titled "Why is TAF Needed" focuses on the solution, a global organisation which aims to redeem our continent and reinstate the sovereignty for Africa’s people. TAF Values - Unity in our Diversity

We acknowledge as Pan Africans that we are different, yet we are one. We seek unity, not uniformity. We believe that all Africans are our brothers and sisters regardless of their tribe, the language they speak; their skin tone; or whether they live today at home or in a foreign land. We are indeed still brothers and sisters, born of and into one African family. It is the strength of our extended family that will enable us to unite and redeem our home. We recognize that racism, tribalism and many other divisive isms have created barriers and caused us unquantifiable colossal losses. We must unite so that our enemies and detractors can no longer leverage those divisions to undermine us.

Dr. Chinedu Chukwu

Dr. Chinedu Chukwu from Nigeria is the Regional Head of Chapters for West Africa at The African Federation, where he leads chapter development across the region. He stands by the belief that by 2050, Africa will be a superpower for the many rather than the few.

Want to volunteer with TAF?
TAF Focus Units continue to seek volunteers for their Heads of Research, Engagement, Communication and Support Units. Visit the Volunteer page on the TAF website for details and to apply.

Head of Research & Policy: Responsible for research-driven implementable-policy development, policy prioritisation, research integrity & quality, inter-Focus Unit research & policy coordination and thought leadership. Requires relevant policy-sector experience.

Head of Engagement: Responsible for impactful delivery of external engagement with & through policy development & implementation stakeholders (including members & partners and TAF commercial business models), inter-Focus Unit engagement coordination and thought leadership. Requires relevant, but not specific policy-sector, experience.

Head of Communications: Responsible for internal & external communications (incl. brand, strategy & execution) for the Focus Unit and intra-TAF coordination. Requires relevant, but not specific policy-sector, experience.

Head of Support Unit: Responsible for strategic & operational finance, governance & controls, legal and HR. Requires relevant, but not specific policy-sector, experience.

Deputy CEO: Responsible for coordination & prioritisation of leadership team & unit activities. Requires organisation or large team management experience.
