Economic inequality in Nigeria is now a structural threat to its national sovereignty. We recognise that a federation divided by extreme disparity cannot sustain the weight of a 2050 superpower mandate. On March 28th, 2026, TAF Economy Focus Unit, Nigeria, will convene a high-level digital forum to address the mechanics of this crisis and more importantly, the strategic "fixes" required to reverse it. African Leadership Spotlight | Ellen Johnson Sirleaf

On March 28th, The African Federation invites you to a landmark Legacy Spotlight on Zoom centered on the life and leadership of Africa’s first female president, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. Affectionately known as the Iron Lady, her story is a big chapter in the history books, and a tactical manual for anyone who believes that a broken system can be reclaimed and made whole again. This session is designed for the thinkers, the doers and the leaders within our chapters who are tired of the narrative of "potential" and are ready to step into the reality of power. Africa must be restored by Africans. No other nation will work to support our mission of becoming a powerful global force. Many will work against it so we must own with steely resolve, an unwavering commitment to securing the Africa we want, one that can neither be despised nor bullied. We must lead at the frontlines of our restoration, individually, and collectively. As African people, we are not unified for purposes of taking a stand against any other nation(s) or race but against anyone who intends or whose actions serve to possess the Africa that is ours.

Nobesuthu Trish Ndlovu

Nobesuthu Trish Ndlovu is the Head of Support Units within TAF Central Chapters. She is a human rights advocate and a Pan-Africanist who firmly believes in the power of inter-African cooperation for the prosperity of the African continent.

TAF Focus Units continue to seek volunteers for their Heads of Research, Engagement, Communication and Support Units. Visit the Volunteer page on the TAF website for details and to apply.

Head of Research & Policy: Responsible for research-driven implementable-policy development, policy prioritisation, research integrity & quality, inter-Focus Unit research & policy coordination and thought leadership. Requires relevant policy-sector experience.

Head of Engagement: Responsible for impactful delivery of external engagement with & through policy development & implementation stakeholders (including members & partners and TAF commercial business models), inter-Focus Unit engagement coordination and thought leadership. Requires relevant, but not specific policy-sector, experience.

Head of Communications: Responsible for internal & external communications (incl. brand, strategy & execution) for the Focus Unit and intra-TAF coordination. Requires relevant, but not specific policy-sector, experience.

Head of Support Unit: Responsible for strategic & operational finance, governance & controls, legal and HR. Requires relevant, but not specific policy-sector, experience.

Deputy CEO: Responsible for coordination & prioritisation of leadership team & unit activities. Requires organisation or large team management experience.
