TAF Sierra Leone | Healing Minds

TAF Sierra Leone is hosting a one-hour Zoom panel on Sunday, 31st August 2025, from 5:30 – 6:30pm GMT, focusing on the mental health challenges facing the country’s youth. Moderated by Abu Bakarr Sesay, the discussion will feature insights from Mohamed Musa Kamara, who will address the impact of drug abuse on mental health, Francis B. Swaray, who will explore community-level recovery strategies and peer support, and Hymanson Sesay, who will provide an overview of TAF’s initiatives and long-term strategies.

The panel aims to tackle stigma, highlight practical coping mechanisms, and inspire actionable support systems for young people across Sierra Leone. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage directly with speakers during a live Q&A.
